Tribunal orders arrest of Nigeria's Senator Saraki

Nigeria's Code of Conduct Tribunal has issued a bench warrant against Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
The tribunal also ordered the Inspector General of
Police and other security agencies to arrest and produce Saraki in court on Monday.

The wife of the Nigerian President, Aisha Buhari, has urged the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), not to go back on its campaign promises. In a statement by her Special Assistant on Media, Adebisi Olumide-Ajayi, on Tuesday, Mrs Buhari appealed to the party not to go back on its campaign promises of paying 5,000 Naira to 25 million unemployed Nigerians and giving school children one free meal a day. U-17 World Cup Dominated By Eaglets Individually.

Nigeria successfully defended their crown at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Chile 2015 and the Eaglets also dominated the individual honours at the tournament. The Eaglets' captain, Kelechi Nwakali won the adidas Golden Ball as the tournament's best player. Victor Osimhen won the adidas Silver Ball in addition to the the adidas Golden Boot which he earned courtesy his record-breaking 10 goals and two assists. Mali's forward, Aly Malle got the adidas Bronze Ball. Nwakali told FIFA.com, "I thank God for the opportunity to win this award. It means so much." Giving the credit to his team-mates' hard work and diligence throughout their time in Chile, he said, "Right from the game against the USA, when we arrived in Chile, our aim was to defend the trophy. Trial of Gaddafi's son adjourned to December

Saadi Gaddafi, a son of former Libyan leader Muhammar Gaddafi was in court on Sunday to face trial on charges of murder and repression during the 2011 revolution. The trial was however adjourned till December without a reason by the judge. Saadi is charged with the first-degree murder in 2005 of a former trainer at Tripoli's Al-Ittihad football club. Sunday's court hearing came days after Human Rights Watch said it had been able to meet Saadi at Tripoli's Al-Hadba prison, where he said his rights were being violated. The body reported that Saadi said he had been "held in solitary confinement at Al-Hadba prison since his extradition from Niger Republic , and kept in a windowless cell. Three of Kadhafi's seven sons were killed in the 2011 NATO-backed uprising and in July, one-time heir apparent Seif al-Islam was sentenced to death for crimes during the uprising.
